3 Foundational Pilates Exercises for Hormonal Balance & Skin Vitality


  1. Pelvic Curl- AKA Bridging (Spine Articulation) supports spinal mobility and circulation. Try this on a spine corrector with feet on the crease for hip extension and spine mobility or feet on the arc for higher elevation of the spine. For increased spine mobility and segmental articulation perform it on the ladder barrel for deeper detoxification benefits.

  2. Chest Expansion (Breath-Focused Movement) combines posture and breathwork to calm the nervous system. Use a Theraband or Reformer/Trapeze Table for added resistance.

  3. Roll Down series (Spinal Flexion) this can be done on the reformer, Trapeze table or the mat with a theraband connected at the feet for assistance on the way down and roll back up! A classic move that aids lymphatic flow and full-body relaxation. Add light tension for strength and spinal mobility in the sagittal plane.
